Grains of all kinds on the Atlanta market. have

been steady for the past two weeks, with both shell-

ed and ear corn in a Slightly stronger position: The
offerings of corn have been relatively light and a |
stronger demand has, caused an increase in prices.

heavy supply of eggs on this market and as a result
of this over-supply, the market has declined 7c per

beans and tomatoes during the coming season.

Baxley are progressing. The plant tndustry along
with tomatoes, will be outstanding.
HARRELL W. LONG Manager

THE MACON MARKET)

- Due to favorable weather conditions for the last
several days there hes been quite an improvement
in the quality of fall produce that has come on

the market. The greatest improvement has been in
turnips with collards coming second. The movement
of all produce has been rather slow since the holi-

days but with the quality improving as it now is
_ we feel that the demand will steadily increase. =
Local producers are furnishing collards, turnips

and mustard and South Georgia producers are now
marketing turnips, mustard and some few cabbage.
The supply of sweet potatoes has been adequate and
the price has advanced slightly since our last report.
