Reflections of Life
To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven
A time to be born... Randolph Ward, Sr., was bom October 23, 1950 in Chester, South Carolina to Ruth Sanders Ward and the late Robert Edward Ward. He was | also preceded in death by his brother, Edward(Sonny)Eugene Ward. "Randy," as he was affectionately known, was a most beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
A time to plant... At an early age, he acknowledged Christ, and was baptized at Sandy River Baptist Church, Chester, S.C. where he served as an usher. Later after moving to Bronx, New York, he became a member of St. Mhtthews A.M.E. Church. Upon moving to Augusta, Georgia he changed his membership to Beulah Grove Baptist Church where he was a devoted member.
A time to learn... Randy spent his early years of education in Chester, South Carolina, and then later moved to Bronx, NY, where he graduated from Roosevelt High School, and the City University of New York (cum laude).
A time to love...Randy met the love of his life Gwenevere Watson at a young age in Bronx, New York. A lifetime of unconditional love and devotion has yielded them two sons, and an unlimited joy that is experienced by few.
A time to live... Randy lived his life in an unselfish manner, with a constant desire to help others. He was a God-fearing man. He was an entrepreneur, and always worked diligently to provide for his family. He worked for nine years at Comcast as a Retention Associate.
