A celebration of life, wisdom and humility for Willie Edward Spivey, sunrise, November 6, 1938, sunset, January 14, 2012, Thursday, January 19, 2012, 2:30 p.m., Thankful Baptist Church, 302 Walker Street, Augusta, Georgia, Reverend Christopher Waters, officiating

I can't pull the stinger out, I can't stop hurting; this burns like fire, going through my veins. But . . . to have a "Daddy" like you was the greatest Honor o f All! You were the "Head" o f our household. You led with meekness, humility, loyalty and dedication. I thanked you then, and I thank God today for sending such a mighty man o f "GOD" to be "My Daddy".
My buddy, my best-friend, my rock. You are sleeping now and can rest your soul like wanted. You made me into the man I am and the one I want to become. You have showed me the road to success. You are my grandpa and my supeiman. I knew you really had the key to manhood and you have just handed me the key to unlock it. As your offspring, I will not let you down and thank you for always keeping your promises. I love you and no weapon formed against this family shall prosper.

A limb has fallen from the fam ily tree I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for m e". Remember the best times, the laughter, the so n g . . .
The good life that I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, Tm counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions no matter how small. Go on with your life, don't worry about falls . . . I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes we're together again.

The family extends sincere gratitude for the many expressions of love, support and concern during the home going of our loved one. We have been blessed by your love. We pray that God will continue to bless all of you. Special thanks to Reverend Sarah Mitchell, Thankful Baptist Church and Williams Funeral Home.
