Obituary
Mrs. Ann Olds was the daughter o f the late Edgar, Sr. and Sadie Matthews. Ann was born in Augusta, Georgia and spent most of her life here.
She was baptized at Immaculate Conception Church and has served as afaithful member o f the Church o f the Most Holy Trinity since 1972.
Ann completed high school at Immaculate Conception here in Augusta and didfurther studies at Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
She served her community as a care-taker and business woman.
Left to cherish her memories are: a loving and devoted daughter, Shellie Johnson (her husband, Wilbur, II), two darling grandchildren that she loved dearly: Halle and Wilbur, III o f Lawrenceville, Georgia. Two loving brothers: Edgar Matthews, Jr. (his wife Helen) o fAugusta and Thomas Michael Matthews o f California. Three wonderful sisters: Shelman Porter, Sadie Gray and Theresa Brooks, all o f California, and a host of caring nieces, nephews and sorrowing close friends.
