Mrs. Anna Bell Boyd Was born in Sumter, South Carolina on June 21, 1929. She was the first child of Sarah and George Singleton. She received her education at public school in Aiken, South Carolina.
She joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. Clarence Boyd Sr. which he preceded her in death.
At an early age she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at Hazel Grove Baptist Church in Beech Island, South Carolina. She relocated to Augusta, Georgia and became a devoted member of Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church were she served as a missionary and a mother of the church.
Anna Bell Boyd comes from a very loving family which inspired her to become a very loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and inviting the family over for celebra tion. She touched everyone heart in a very special way. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, and fishing with family and friends. She will always be remembered by the love and dedication she shown to everyone. Her life and spirit will be with us forever.
She leaves to cherish her memory: one sister Georgiana McKinley Bronx N.Y.; five daughter Patricia Simmons Augusta Ga., Linda (Fred) Bryant Aiken South Carolina, Debra Starks, Claretha Starks, and Clyde {Liz} Starks all from Augusta Ga.; three sons Lawrence Singleton, Clarence Boyd Jr. both from Augusta Ga., and David (Teresa) Starks Kentucky; 16 grandchil dren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and
friends.
