Its hard to lose the ones we love, To see them pass away,
The sweetest and the kindest gone While others are left to stray!
But ifwe had a garden
With roses fair and bright We'd often pick the fairestjlowers.
And think it to be right.
And so it is with Jesus In His earthly garden here. He often picks the fairest flowers. The ones we love so dear.
The flowers that are picked by Him Will neverfade away.
We know they '!!live forever, and We 'II see then some sweet day

Rev. Dr. Henry Daniel Andrews, Sr., born February 8, 1949 to
Mrs. Cinnamon and the late Mr. Johnnie Andrews in Wilkes County, Georgia. His upbringing was filled with love, compassion and guidance from his parents. Rev. Andrews received the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age when he joined Black Rock A.M.E. Church, in Tignall, Georgia. His father was a Deacon and other members of the Andrews family were very active. Henry graduated from Washington Central High School in Washington, Georgia. After high school, he served in the United States Army where he was stationed in Vietnam and received an Honorable Discharge. He was a well respected Vietnam Veteran. He later served in the United States Army Reserve for ten years as a Chaplain. After serving four years in the US Army, he continued his education and received his BA, which was followed by a Doctorate of Ministry. On May 24, 1979 in the Augusta Conference of the African Methodist Church, he was ordained as a Minister. Later on May 22, 1981, he was ordained as an Elder of the African Methodist Church in Thomson, Georgia. He served the Lord in Ministry for twenty-seven years; his last assignment was the Pastor of Rock Temple A.M.E. Church in Conyers, Georgia. The Hall County branch of the NAACP selected him as the "93rd Pastor of the Year". His ministry was not confined to the walls of the church; his visions included a Prison Ministry, and a Radio Ministry. He learned to speak Spanish to work with other ethnic communities. God and family was always the center of his existence. Rev. Andrews provided endless service unto his churches, faithfully leading them with a Servant's Heart, visiting the sick, counseling the needed and joyfully praising God in ministry. He was a soft spoken and humble man who made it his life's work to serve the Lord. He was an example for Christian living and brought hundreds to Christ. Rev. Andrews will live forever as a shinning light for his church, family, friends and colleagues. May he rest in peace, and the joy that he shared continue with us. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Teresa Andrews; loving children, Mr. and Mrs. Caleb (Falessia Andrews) Hill, Mr. Henry Daniel Andrews, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Anthony (Precious) Carter, Ms. Tiffany Marshall, and Mr. Bradford Marshall; five grandchildren, Danyelle, Lauryn, Zakia, Daniel and David; steadfast mother, Mrs. Cinnamon Andrews; two sisters, Rev. Johnnie Mae King and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard (Gertude L. Andrews) Cloud; one brother, Mr. Ernest Andrews; a devoted mother-in-law, Mrs. Grady Mae Parrott; two sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth (Constance) Lawrence and Mr. and Mrs. George (Christine) Jackson; one brother-in-law, Mr. Henry Parrott, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Yet love will dream, andfaith will trust (Since He who knows our need is just) That somehow, somewhere, meet me must.
Alas, for him who never sees The stars shine through his cypress-trees I
Who, hopeless, lays his dead away. Nor looks to see the breaking day Across the mournful marbles playI Who hath not learned in hours offaith The truth to flesh and sense unknown.
That life is ever lord ofdeath, And love can never lose its own!

Your griefis new, and others who want to offer comfort Are at a loss, for words alone can never ease our pain ...
But time will help, and so will our memories ...
The way our Father looked, the way he smiled... And all those traits that were unique to him"' These will live in our heart.... And he will always be a part of US!
